Maddie Envy - So Now I Have a New Collar

You might wonder what I do with the money I earn from the ads on my blog here. Well I go shopping on the Internet and buy stuff! One of my recent purchases was a result of a bit of jealousy on my part. You see, Maddie the Coonhound was sporting a really upscale collar on her recent visit to Portland. That did not go unnoticed by ME!

I was dreaming of having a collar like that engraved with my name and phone number. When I was on the Internet the other day I saw THE COLLAR!

So I was so excited, I wore it to the Ross Dog Park this afternoon. I pranced around proudly hoping everyone would notice MY NEW FANCY COLLAR. But they were so busy playing that most didn't notice. But all of a sudden a beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer came running over to me. "Nice collar, sweetie," he said as he eyed my neck. "Thanks, it's just a little something I picked up," I said, coyly. And then I noticed that he had one too.... just like mine! So I did get noticed!
