Gross Stuff at the Dog Park and the Easy Scoop a Poop

No body likes dog poop!

I just got back from a great romp at the dog park. We're having a stormy day but it was rather nice when I was there. The wind was blowing the leaves and it wasn't raining.

So why am I writing about poop? Well, when I was at the dog park I smelled something really BAD! As I got closer, I saw it was enough poop for three dogs and it was fresh. Ugh!

I thought that no human would really want to pick up that much smelly poop and that's why it was there. It grossed me out. So what's a human to do? There are rules, you know.

So I was on the Internet and found something that might help keep MY DOG PARK CLEANER! There is a contraption called "Scoop a Poop." No, I'm not making it up!

I asked them to send one to my owner so she'd keep our back yard even cleaner than she does now. At this point I am thinking EVERYONE AT THE DOG PARK NEEDS ONE!

So here's how it works. You know how new dog owners are so squeamish about picking up their pet's poop? Well, this makes it less... well, distasteful.

The Scoop a Poop takes the "yuck" out of pet waste pick up. It is a little green plastic box with a clip. Inside the box is a roll of plastic bags. You use the open box as a scoop, but the gross stuff ends up in the bag.

Since the human's hand is only feeling the hard plastic, everything is easy and much less gross than just using the regular plastic bags for pick-up. Here's a video:

My owner tried it, thought it was easy and wished she had these when I was new at her house. That's when she used a shovel to do pick-up because she wasn't comfortable using plastic bags.
