I did something really great this morning! I got up early! Usually I roll out of bed about 9 a.m. but this morning I got up bright and early at 7 a.m. It was nice and cool outside. We opened the windows and I went outside. Because I got up early we got to go to the dog park at 9 a.m. rather than 10 a.m. And I found out today why people go early on hot days!
I had a great time at the dog park. As soon as we got inside the double gate I was raring to go!

Once I got inside, I checked out the bulletin board. I always look for things like PARTIES! And I saw what looked like tons of fun! It was a poster for "
Bark in the Park."

Well, that was a bummer. But I perked up when I saw some cute dogs playing in the grass. One of them had a squeaky tennis ball. I considered taking it away from him but then decided to play nice and just "leave it."

Then I rounded the corner for my third lap around the dog park. I did stop and eat grass. I did stop and roll in great smelling stuff. I did sniff everything. But it was so cool out I decided to go for a run. It was so fun!

So by then I needed another stop at the water fountain and a rest in the shady grass. I had such a wonderful morning, I was reluctant to leave but she had TREATS! So back to the car I went.

I am so lucky to be party of the Lucky Dog Park family. By the time I left it was getting hot out and I was ready for a long nap.
