Neither Snow nor Ice nor Rain nor Fog... Will deter me from going to the Dog Park!

Nothing was gonna stop me from going to the dog park today. After all, the streets at my house were clear after the big snow storm. It was finally time for ME TO GO HAVE FUN!
There were signs at the dog park that other dogs had been there recently.
Or was it a wolf?

So we drove over to the Ross Dog Park. As we crested the hill we saw that it was still full of snow and there were NO DOGS! What had I gotten myself into. But I really wanted to go to the park and sniff around so we got out and made it across the street without slipping (I'm lucky I have four paws!).

We walked up the big hill... crunch, crunch through the ice and snow. It was kinda wet. As I got to the upper park I saw that it was foggy. It was kind of like playing "Hound of the Baskervilles." Eerie and scary. Maybe the other dogs knew something I didn't know and stayed home. Arooooo!
Here I am in the fog playing Hound of the Baskervilles

But then all of a sudden I heard something. It was another dog scampering toward me. I was so relieved. I wasn't alone. This dog wanted to play but I was still too shook up to romp. Besides, I didn't want to get wet or muddy.
Here's the other dog at the park. See how snowy it is?

I made it around the park once and hung out around some new people who were sitting on a bench watching their dogs play. I hung around so much I decided I'd just stay there and didn't go down the hill when my owner called. (Selective hearing loss).
Here I am not coming when I am called.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

Eventually the young couple were co-opted into catching me and delivering me to my owner so we could go home. I was getting wet as it had started to rain.

Don't tell anyone, but I was ready to go home anyway!

Love, Cinnamon the snow dog.

  1. Looks like fun! My momma are such a weather wimp - she won't even take me on a walk when it's below 40.
